So the modelling is going good, didn't come across any problems so far, the only problem that occurred was when my Maya decided to stop working after 5 hours of not saving... my bad, anyhow here is the picture I'm taking all the info from;

Time for some rant...

Anyhow most of you don't know but I actually hail from the Balkans, and it's in our mentality to get shit done, I don't care about fame or fortune, or who's name will be where in the credits, my goal is to finish this project as fast as possible so there can be time for fine tuning, in no way do I want to make it in any aspect cheap, like: ''you can just copy paste the same fort over and over again 7 times, its only going to be a flight trough''... I wont sleep for a week, but dammit, each and every fort will be different, because the little things make the difference between a good peace of animation, and GREAT peace of animation!
What brings us to the next topic, the fact that someone has to texture 7 different forts, with a fair amount of detail is just plain stupid, especially because its just going to be a flight trough, in a scene that is only 20sec long... now I needed a way to get it done without gimping the texturing process and making it look... well.. cheap.... 

SO I may have steeped into someone else's turf when I decided to dedicate my entire day  to texture the mesh and all the details SO later I can just copy paste the initial mesh and shape it as I see fit, here are some pictures ;



My breakthrough wasn't welcomed as well as I expected, quite the opposite, I did wrong... I textured, and hell, I'm the modelling guy, how in 9 frigging hells did I get the nerve to texture, blasphemy!
So by trying to make everyone's life easier.. in the end I became the guy who is doing the entire project, I wonder why.... Maybe I'm to blame, maybe I should have gathered textures for 2 days, instead of thinking how to save us all ''''''7''''''' days of useless work that can be better spent somewhere else, like, sorting out the room which is the main focus of this entire project??

 Well, I had to say it, hate to BITCH and MOAN but fuck it, how hard is it to see a good thing when it hits you??
